It’s been a long time coming, but finally this Thanksgiving our movie “10 Mountains 10 Years” comes out on DVD. We’re so thankful to have Anne Hathaway doing narration, music from the BOSS - Bruce Springsteen, and an introduction by my amazing friend Leeza Gibbons.

npr, pbs, americorps, planned parenthood, all losing funding, all proven to be effective public services. the death penalty costs an obscene amount of money, isn’t effective, and has the potential to result in an innocent person dying.
so … this is real life.
fucking hilarious. my love of him is absurd.

What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
On her own? Probably, like, Teeth on youtube. The first song I ever heard her sing, in general, was definitely The Blowers Daughter.
What is your favourite song of 8?
Southwood Plantation Road, which I just tried linking and failed at. My life.
What impact has 1 had on your life?
I guess besides U2, Damien Rice was the first Irish artist I really got into (which meant that I would fall into a lot of other Irish bands) and those artists have hugely impacted how I listen to music, what I expect from it, how I make music. It’s nothing huge, but listening with fresh ears, maybe.
What are your favourite lyrics of 5?
Oh, god, just one? Right now, “on certain Sunday’s in November, when the weather bothers me, I empty drawers of other summers, where my shadows used to be.”
How many times have you seen 4 live?
This is not a joke or exaggeration: 10.
What is your favourite song by 7?
“You sounded so good on the phone, all moved up and all moved on, me and gravity, we never could agree.”
Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad?
Fake sometimes has the capacity to pull at my heartstrings in the right moments.
What is your favorite song by 9?
“In the Aeroplane Over the Sea,” because it’s the first song I ever learned on the guitar.
When did you first get into 2?
Losing my Religion came out when I was 3 and I had 3 brothers who were all roughly 10 years older than me, one of whom gave me every REM album for Christmas when I was 13. You do the math.
How did you get into 3?
They’ve always kind of been on my radar (thank you, Damien Rice), but my best other half gave me Dance the Devil a few years ago and I realised I was a cunt for trying to hate them.
What is your favorite song by 4?
Tied between Red Right Ankle and Sunshine.
How many times have you seen 9 live?
Never, damn you, Jeff Magnum!
What is a good memory concerning 10?
Flying from Boston to Shannon to Dublin to Cork in the most ridiculous of flights, but toward the best of experiences. Also my brother drunkenly punching Dave Geraghty on the arm is pretty good.
Is there a song by 8 that makes you sad?
Broom People.
What is your favorite song of 1?
I Remember. If we’re talking post-being-a-dick, Wild & Free, clearly.
from our show last night at Brighton Music Hall in Boston. The show was absolutely incredible.
she is beautiful and so was this show. except the guy screaming, “i remember!” over and over. i wanted to throttle him on her behalf.
